Berada di Cameron Highland untuk 2jam 30 minit

Salam ..

Oh yeah .. kejadian ini berlaku pada 14 Desember 2010 ... 2jam 30minit sahaja sudah cukup untuk berada di Cameron Highland utk shopping. Dan yang paling menariknya, kita hanya decide secara sangat spontan. Watak-watak yang terlibat sekali adalah Faiq, Din, Soleha dan Pijat. Tujuan asalnya hanya mahu ke kenduri kawin di Kampung Gajah, Perak dan kemudian jalan-jalan sebentar dan kemudian balik.

Maka, jalan-jalan sebentar itu adalah shopping di pasar malam di Cameron Highland. Menaiki kereta sejauh 61km daripada Simpang Pulai ke Cameron Highland, beli strawberi dan kemudian pulang. Cool gile kot !! Spontan !! Satu je tak best pasal spontan ni, kalo ATM rosak jalan jauh-jauh pon takleh nak shopping juga. Ada RM 7 je time tuh

It was my first time experience in presenting USM in academically to a symposium and luckily my group won the first prize of the category. Meeting with new friends and my old friends, it was very interesting experience.

The universities that particiate in this competition are USM, UMP, UTM, UPM, UTAR, UiTM, UKM, Cutin University Sarawak, UIA.


Source : School of Chemical Engineering Got First in NACES’ Technical PowerPoint® Presentation

The National Chemical Engineering Symposium, (NACES) is an annual event organised by the undergraduate students in Chemical Engineering in universities all over Malaysia. This year, Universiti Teknologi MARA, UiTM was chosen as the host for NACES2010 under the theme of Green Technology. On the 3rd – 5th December, 20 universities including; Universiti Malaya, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Universiti Putra Malaysia, Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman and Universiti Sains Malaysia to name a few, were homed in the newly built UiTM Engineering Faculty as the venue for NACES2010.

During the event, four different categories were competing, apart from the daily seminars and talks on different subject areas within the scope of Green Technology. The categories included the Technical Essay Writing Competition, Technical Video Presentation, Technical PowerPoint® Presentation and Technical Plant Design Competition. Universiti Sains Malaysia’s School of Chemical Engineering went for 2 categories out of four. Raveena Chithra Vettivellu, Ahmad Naufal Suhaimi, Chong Meng Yong and Woo Siong Voon presented the Technical PowerPoint® Presentation while Pragas Perumal, Lau Yong Sheng, Uvannesan Krishnasamy and Sanmuganathan Gunasakaran presented the Technical Plant Design Project.

In the end of the competition, USM team bagged first place on the Technical PowerPoint® Presentation. It is hoped that next year’s NACES2011 in the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Skudai, USM team will again achieve another VICTORY with the motto, WE LEAD!

I and Bob (Farhan) share same interest in outdoor activities. We were wondering why we could not start this activities earlier during our first year and second year. Perhaps takdir have not reach us till now, it has lead us to very interesting experience.

So, we planned on weekend to Taman Negara Penang, which located at Teluk Bahang, Batu Feringgi. It was my sixth visit and I kept wanting to come again as soon I leave.

At Taman Negara, you can choose your location, for example, you can go to Sungai Teluk Tukun, Pantai Kerachut, Pantai USM CEMEC (own by USM Biology Sciences School), and Mukahead Light House. (Refer to the map).

If you live near to Penang and love to trecking, this one of the place that you should try. And if you are going to Pantai Kerachut, you can see Meromictics Lake which the water of the lake have unique characteristics which the salt water and the river water are in the same location. It only have 19 lakes in world with this characteristics.

Process Design and Analysis

The most crucial and challenging course in chemical engineer is finally over (for only semester 1)..It consist of all fundamental calculation that learn from first year till third year.

 Each team will having 5 members group which we are the oly group which consits of 3 different races. My group have been formed during second semester of third year by Raveena, in preparation to this course because of this course you will be needing a team members that compitable and can work along 24/7.

And now it has come to an end for the first semester and I would rather say it was something you would imagine before you taking this course.

I would like send my appreciation to Raveena, Chong Meng Yong, Teng Siaw Ping and Aziem for their help and teamwork for design. Thank you to Dr Tan Soon Huat for his advice in this project.

Next semester we will continue in the same project with different field which are the control system etc.

Wah .. dah berhabuk dah dalam blog ni .. berjuta sarang muncul dah .. uhuhuh .. lama gile tak buka en .. heheh .. busy gile kot ..

Dah 4th year dah .. kononnye dah 4th yer, tak byk kelas dalam jadual, free laa, tp sangkaan itu meleset sebab busy gilos ...

So, ari ni tergerak nak dtg tgk blog ni, sebab semalam pergi kursus utk set up laman web desasiswa Jaya, aku handle bahagian gambar2 je .. jumpa mamat Johan Jonah yang tunjuk aku satu software yang best .. dgn ability belajar secara cepat dgn memerhatikan sahaja, aku tau software tuh best dan leh edit aku ye blog ni.. nanti cuti, nak buat blog baru. Maka, sampai laa ke saat ini, yang mana, aku nak tgk2 sket ap dah jadi dalam ni..

Banyak update menda yg nak cite sebenar ye .. uhuh .. cite yg sempat je laa ek ..

1. Masalah duit
Aku tak tau mcm mane terjadi, aku ada masalah duit ... duit yang aku simpan sejak 1st yer, abes banyak masa time LI (aku beli ape ek?). Plus, masa raya ari tuh, duit aku abes dalam 500-600 hanya baju sahaja. Adui .. tak termasuk menda lain ye, contoh mcm jam dan menda2 kecil yang lain. dan sekrang, aku sgt2 sengkek dan sgt berjimat. Pergi kedai makan luar pon, mintak nasi putih lauk je. No nasi goreng dah. Haa, satu lg penyumbang duit aku yang abes cepat ni adalah LAPTOP BARU.

2. Toshiba Satellite L645 (intel CORE i3)
Owh yes .. 1 Oktober, berlaku ye tragedi oktober yang berlaku ye pembelian laptop baru ini. Minggu sebelum tuh, laptop kesayanganku, Compaq Presario rosak. Menurut analysis kedai, motherboard yang rosak. It goes without saying, I have to buy new 1. This the only laptop that I could have with extra RM 500 from my dearest. For now, I kinda like it.

3. Broadband Celcom Youth Package
Yup.. kerana dah 4th year, internet itu penting. Tak berani mengambil risiko dengan internet USM yang kadang2 boleh hilang sekelip mata, aku beli laa broadband ni. Yang bagus ye, dalam keadaan biasa, pakej ini berharga RM 98 sebulan, tp aku dapat RM 50 je .. uhuh .. untung r ..

4. Detox foot patch
Baru pakai 2 hari. Tak tau result die mcm mana. Masih meneruskan experiment

5. Yang lain
Baru dapat tau, aku sangat suka baju yang wangi, lepas kering .. best2 .. suka2 ..

6. Plant Design
Gile ah subject ni.. subjek ni yang membuatkan satu batch 4th yer chemical eng gile .. work load yang superb banyak. Sampai, skul kimia yang takde kaitan dgn software AUTOCAD pun, aku sendiri yang dah jd agak pakar.

7. Final Year Project (FYP)
Aku ingat menda ni common. Tapi bila borak dgn kawan2 time raya ari tuh, ada juga yang tak tau menda ni ape. Ni adalah projek akhir utk pelajar tahun akhir yang kene buat sorang2. Jadi, dapat under prof yang agak top dekat skul. Memang superb busy, nak jumpa kene wat appoinment dulu k. Tp, nasib baik projek dia agak boleh difahami sebab penah buat RA time 2nd year dulu. So, apply knowledge sama je laa ek. Planning akan buat pada waktu cuti ni, n abeskan segala part experiment pada time tuh. uhuh

Update 21st Jan 2010

Salam 21 June,6.21pm, lvl 19,Tower 1, KLCC <- (Berlagak sungguh)

uhuhuh.. hari ni kan special sket ... Cik MGA datang melawat .. dia dah abes kursus selepas grad die, dan hari ni dia ada interview kat Menara Atlan. Dekat saja dgn KLCC. Maka dapat lunch dengan dia dan rakan2nya. Makan pizza.. dan ade sedikit isu lepas tuh.

Tinggal lagi 3 minggu lagi nak abes.Yeah.. Gaji May baru masuk, hahah.lambat sebab orang baru kot. Boleh r pergi ajar orang adobe photoshop.Opss.

Tadi juga, Dr Suzy datang melawat. Pensyarah yang best dia ni, penah keja dgn Slumberger, 5 tahun (baru tahu tadi). Tiba-tiba ada scene jejak kasih sedikit. Dr Suzy ni junior supervisor. Then, tibe2 baru tau, supervisor ku ini graduate USM. Plus, masuk MPDJ lagi .. patutlaa cam power je die ni.. uhuhu... kebetulan laa sangat. Dan semuanya berjalan lancar, cuma tak payah present je. heheheh..

Hee, by refering to the previous entry, I posted my workstation right? heheh.. now it is no longer my workstation. A new staff coming in and my supervisor aka boss at this section, reposition the staff. so now I'm still have my workstation and using department's laptop due to the pc management took some time to send pcs' to new staff, so I have to let them use mine.

Now I'm staying at my ex-officemate (he is been transfered to Cost Cotrol of Kumang Project), at junction of Jalan Klang lama and Jalan Puchong. Kampung Petaling Bahagia. So it is 30 minute traveling my housemate to KLCC. But, the cons are I have to wait him to get back home. And every day I went back at 8pm. uhuhu.. so more time to be spend in the office (for example now)

My tuition for my younger brother have been ceased for 2 weeks due to the school's holiday. We might start back this week. Yosh !!!

Ok, now my mood is soared off, I might wanna tapau for my dinner. My housemate not having his dinner cause of his weight.

Huhhu .. meminjam broadband seorang staf yang baik hati, in return she ask me to download some video for her ..

Previous week is busy week for me. Migrating the Cost Report from the old template to new template. Now all of it is completed, and currently I'm doing nothing except helping some minor thing to do.

Now, there are 3 new staff assigned to this department last week. All of them from UTP, and now, the chance of doing office decrease and doing nothing is increase. Hahaha .. I wanna help, atleast let me understand what we are doing here. But everybody is really busy. It need big guts to ask something while they were chasing the dateline.

Owh suddenly Raymond comes. He is the one help me alot in giving task. Thanks to him, I got lot of understanding through what he gave to me. I had short chit chat about his experience on his work, and he is really sharing it, and also giving good advice for me. Thanks. So, got to go. Tata

Fuh .. dah lama tak update blog kan ?? Apa kabar anda semua ?? heheh ...so sem 2, tahun ketiga saya dah pun habis .. tergesa2 dengan exam, trus pergi praktikal .. fuh2 ... penat2 ... minggu ni pun dah masuk minggu ketiga praktikal ..

"wah jauh, naik tren laa ni?"
"Yup, naik tren, ERL, Star LRT n Putra LRT"
"Wah banyak tuh"
"Yup, naik tren kul 7pg, sampai kul 8pg, tak sempat brekfes, masuk ofis trus .. haha"
"Pergh, penat tuh"
"Yup, 1 jam diri dalam tren je .. uhuhuh"
"Kat Putrajaya tuh, duk dengan family ke?"
"Eh tak laa .. kenalan, adik pon praktikal duk umah sewa yang sama"

Hem, plan asalnya nak mengelak sangat untuk praktikal di bandar tapi akhirnya dapat kat bandar juga.. hemm, tips tu .... yang kita tak suka, tu yang kita dapat tau .. tak pela, karang kalo takde, mane lg kita nak dpt kan ?? So, ini workstation saya ;


Pkul 7,hari Jumaat .. Konon2 overtime laa .. uhuh .. workstation lain pon dah gelap .. lampu ni nyala pun sebab pohon sekeruti onkan .. uhuu

Kat tempat praktikal, diorang bagi workstation, so kira mmg bagus r .. komputer pon ade, tapi leh access LAN connection aja ... kat umah sewa pon,takde tenet .. so, balik umah kat Seremban je laa yang dapat access (kat umah laa ni)..

Tak kesah laa kan .. janji semua ye takde masalah lagi .. so, kat tempat praktikal ni, kat ofis, maka, ilmu2 yang belajar, semua ye bukan menda yang belajar kat Universiti .. uhuh ..lantak je laa .. tak salah belajar .. orang kate, aset mahu belajar ni lagi bagus daripada kita duk membebel nape tak bg keje engineer .. kat ofis tuh, rasa ye semua engineer juga .. siap, chemical engineering daripada Tokyo lg, pun elok je wat keje .. life must go on.. u take it, or leave it .. uhuhu ..

Disebabkan di USM, saya sangat2 jarang balik umah, dah duduk dekat ni, kene laa jaga hati ibu k.. balik selalu ... (haa, korang ingat senang nak jadi anak sulung ni) .. tapi betul laa kan, bile lagi nak jaga hati ibu ..yang korang2 masih ada ibu ni, jaga laa dengan baik2 ..

So, menjelang hujung minggu pertama, ingatkan nak wat suprise dengan membawa diri ke sana.. tapi tidak kesempatan .. maka, menghantar (meminta bantuan rakan2, terima kasih Cik Put kerana tolong flying kan kek itu .. hehe) .. maaf kerna tak dapat wat sesuatu yang lebih baik .. tggu next yer ye ? hee .. So, selamat hari lahir yang ke-22 .. moga panjang umur dan dimurahkan rezeki .. n nyesal juga laa apa yang tertulis di atas kek tuh .. sgt poyos !!

Di book oleh Rasyiqah dan Izyan .. lama sungguh tak jumpa mereka !!! seronok2 !!! saya melangsaikan hutang saya kepada mereka (saya pun tak ingat, apa sebab saya hutang tuh ... hahah) maka, MAKAN KENNY ROGGERS

Hujung minggu kedua plak, sudah dibook oleh rakan2 matrik .. fuh .. lama gile tak dpt jumpa diorg ni .. daripada hari tuh plan2, akhirnya dapat jumpa juga .. terima kasih kepada En. Hanif kerna gagah mengajak kami semua, dan terima kasih kepada Hanif, Alia, Rab, Shahida dan Aimi kerana hadir .. kami ke ITEX, Inovation International Exhibition (maksud itu saya hentam ye), di Convention Centre KLCC . Dalam booth USM, jumpa dekan kesanyangan Kej Kimia, Prof Latif, opss, mungkin bekas dekan .. hee .. dan Aimi ni masuk pertandingan ITEX ni yang membawa final projeknya dan berjaya mendapat tempat Emas dalam .. tahniah Aimi ..

Lepas tuh kan, g date jap ..ops .. heheh ..

Huu, berada di rumah, tergerak di hati saya untuk menjadi guru tusyen kepada adik saya yang last ituh, Ahmad Nasrulhaq .. setakat yang saya perhatikan, dia cepat pick up (konon macam abang dia juga la) tapi, sangat2 malas .. jadi, saya menjadi cikgu tusyen privet kat dia (time ni pon tengah mentutor die laa ni) .. saya ajar math, bagi soklan2 ala2 superb gile, sampai mengong die dibuatnya .. n tgh duk pk apakah cara terbaik nak ajar subjek membaca kat die ..

Cadangan yang saya fikirkan, setiap 30 minit buat math, n satu jam berikutnya buat subjek baca .. uhuhu .. so, bg balance kira2 n baca .. just tak leh cover banyak laa ... English plak, suh dia baca story book kuat2 ... uhuuuhuh .. cite Mickey Mouse then, I ask him to tell me the story again with his own word, verbally .. tegas ke saya ?? hehehe ... risau2 .. saya yang tak pandai english ni dan, adik2 saya lagi rendah englishnya .. kene push .. semua kene push .. fuh2 .. push, sampai terberanak .. LOL

24 May, adik saya ni exam .. uhuh .. tak tau laa cam ne kalo dengan last minit study macam ni .. hahah .. (macam kita semua kat U juga laa kan?) takpe2 .. janji usaha .. yang bagusnya diri die juga kan ..

So, sampai di sini saje lah .. mahu fokus membasuh adik dengan mata pelajarannya ..

Kepada rakan2, praktikal baik2 ye .. jangan malas2 ..

Kepada MGA, minta maaf kalo anda selalu jauh di mata .. doa2 yek ..
